Hi Rebekah, We would like to express our sincere thanks for the outstanding catering service you provided for our son’s wedding in March. From the time you arrived until the minute you left you had everything under control. Just a few brief questions and directions and you were off and running, which left us totally free to enjoy the occasion and entertain our guests. You did everything expected and so much more, including catering to special requests from our little grandson, slicing & bagging the cake, packaging leftovers for us and leaving our kitchen spotless. Exceptional! As for the food, it was simply sensational. So many of our guests commented on how delicious each dish was and how beautifully it was all presented. Brooke is an outstanding chef and is to be congratulated on the quality of her little delicacies. I was particularly impressed with the seafood dishes which were cooked to absolute perfection, but it was ALL superb and I’m sure left our guests very well satisfied. I can’t believe how hard the 2 of you worked! You didn’t stop all afternoon and did it all in a friendly, happy, no fuss manner. Without doubt the quality of both the food and the service contributed immensely to the success of our event.THANKYOU both so much. I’d also like to mention what a pleasure it’s been to deal with you over the last 9-10 months. Throughout that time you’ve always responded promptly and without complaint, which I found very reassuring. I will certainly be recommending you to friends and acquaintances, and I would also be happy to provide a reference should you have potential clients who request one. Your professionalism is a credit to you. Once again, many thanks to yourself and Brooke for making our son’s wedding day perfect.

Hi Barry, Just writing to say that the reception on Friday was brilliant. All the food was absolutely delicious. I could not believe the ability of your kitchen to produce such consistently good food; my fillet was perfect. It was without doubt the best wedding food I have ever tasted and this was echoed by many of those present. Also the quality of the wines was outstanding. My appreciation to all your staff, Kind regards.

I am blown away with how amazing you made it all look. ️ I cried when I saw it all, it was SO beautiful and perfect. I cannot thank you enough from the bottom of my heart for making the venue look exactly as Drew and I wanted (but didn’t know we wanted) hahahaha. The staff from Sorrento Catering Company were delightful and extremely accommodating to every guest. The food was delicious and I loved my chia pudding. So much love and gratitude to all of you! You will forever be in my heart for helping me have a breathtaking wedding, beyond my wildest dreams.

Thank you so much for making Lauren and Ralph’s wedding such a wonderful occasion! The room, western deck, and lawn looked incredible! JUST as Lauren wanted!! I walked in and was blown away by how amazing it looked. We still can’t stop talking about it! The food was just delicious Barry! A buzz went around the room when the guests knew they could choose their main course. And Cally, we all felt very special the way the staff waited on the tables. Your attention to detail was wonderful. And Lauren couldn’t believe you were at the jetty with canapés! After a 3.30am finish to the beautiful wedding day it was great to know the brunch was also in your hands, Barry. The food of course was delicious and a great way to finish the celebrations. The last guest couldn’t believe she had been at our house for 7 hours! Thanks again for creating a wonderful event for the two families.

A note to thank you and your staff for the magnificent event that was staged last Saturday. I have been lucky enough to travel to world over the last 30 or so years attending many glamorous yachting events, Saturdays event at our club heads the list. The layout, presentation of the dining room, the quality and presentation of the food and staff helpfulness was fantastic. The late afternoon on the hill was memorable , well done to all A special mention for the “mini Peronis” that were given to competitors on disembarkation from the pier …… many members commented that the Commodores beer should become standard issue!

It was a lovely night thank you Fortunately the scene was just as I had envisaged when the function was first mooted. Drinks on the deck overlooking a blue sea with the sunlight catching the hulls and masts of the yachts and Arthur’s Seat forming the background to the Bay, followed by a lovely meal sitting inside in the comfort the dining room provides. And although that scene was initially in my head as being held in the middle of a sunny day, it worked perfectly on Saturday evening. The table settings were magnificent, simple but with class, and arranged perfectly. Your staff were absolutely fantastic and made sure every need, not that there were many, was met. It was ‘service with a smile’ all night. And then some. The food was superb resulting in ME receiving glowing compliments which made me feel good, but surely should have been given directly to the chef and those in the kitchen. The wines were equally commented on in the affirmative and were enjoyed enormously by each and every guest. I was so proud. Proud of the amazing venue which was so impressive to those who hadn’t visited the SSCBC before, and knowingly by those who had, proud of the friendliness of the ‘crew’ lead capably and unflappably as usual by Cally, proud of the wonderful quality, choice and presentation of the food and the beverages and proud of the happy, successful and enjoyable evening that resulted from all of the above. Thank you for all you did. Thank you to Cally, Kirsty, Dave et al. They were all fabulous. Thank you for helping the celebration of the passage into my REALLY old age a successful and joyous one and for giving me and my guests a night to remember.

On behalf of the rest of our club members who were in attendance yesterday please pass on our sincere thanks to you and your staff for making our day special. We had a wonderful time, the staff couldn’t have been more obliging and friendly and the food was divine. Thank you again for your patience, and help in organizing this event.

I wanted to thank you personally for your efforts to make Andrea and Jeff’s wedding celebration truly memorable. From the moment I first met you Barry, you made everything work seamlessly and put us at ease. You have a great team, and the excellent reputation you have is truly warranted. I almost wish I had another daughter so we could go through it all again (not). Thanks again for all your hard work – sorry about the many steps you had to climb, and I did notice you brought along a generator (just in case). This is an example of the thought you put into making the event a success.

I just wanted to write a very belated thank you to you and Barry for making our wedding day so amazing. I didn’t speak with your chef on the day, but great work and the young guy at the bar was outstanding – he worked very hard. Finally, thanks for leaving everything so tidy, as this made the clean up job very easy. How can we ever thank you enough for everything you did to make the reception for Amanda and Vaughn’s wedding so special! It was lovely to meet you again last Saturday at “ The wedding of the year!!” What an amazing event. The venue looked fabulous, the food was delicious and hot , the staff fantastic! Jo and Ash were so happy! Thank you again for all you did. The staff you arranged for the Sunday brunch were the best ever! And they did work hard and cooked beautiful food and cleaned everything up a treat! Doug , Di and your amazing chef Marcus carried through the standard from Saturday. Thank you again. Cally was fantastic from our first enquires and recommendations to the maitre ‘d duties on the night. We have had so many positive comments about the event. Thank you for the superb food and service. I’ve had so many letters, phone calls and remarks on every aspect. Your assistants were excellent and frequently remarked on, unobtrusive, efficient and left the place in order. Our celiac guests were very pleased to be so well looked after.
